Jewel at Changi Airport is a brand-new world-class lifestyle destination development comprising of a large-scale lush indoor garden with waterfalls, food and beverage outlets, retail outlets, leisure and amusement park.

The complex covers a total gross floor area of 134,000 sqm, spanning 10 storeys (5 storeys above-ground and 5 basements). Jewel will also serve as a link to connect terminals 1, 2 & 3. IDAS supplied Lumera glazed heat ventilators that are to be installed on the glass dome as part of the climatic control. The ventilators are connected to the dome’s temperature and pressure monitoring equipment and are designed to open to release hot air at high level. Every piece of the triangular ventilators are of different dimensions. IDAS supplied and installed Lumera smoke ventilators as part of the link bridges’ smoke management scheme. The smoke vents are customized to suit the elliptical shape of the link bridges.
